Well, yes, but that's sort of the whole point of a VM. And, if you have enough memory, it is irrelevant. XP runs well with a gig of RAM. Vista, though, runs pretty lousy on any sort of setup that has less than 2GB. It's one of the worst resource hogs of any OS out there. And, frankly, its pretty awful. I reverted back to XP recently for my development work and have Vista around only to test compatibility.
