Hey Cara. If you want to do the running your own jabber server thing,

It sounds more confusing then it is. I had it up and running in about
fifteen minutes or so. To me this really seems like the best way to
go, because you're not depending on any other server for it to work.

will be with msn. I'd rather not need to do the windows thing to
make up for the lack of access, and would much rather see about
having this work on the Mac side of things if I can...
I'd rather not install a Jabber server on my Macbook unless that is
the only way that this can work. I'd rather do the simplest thing I
can right now and just get it going, if that's possible.
The simpler the better right now, however, I'll do what I need to.
And, am not opposed to doing the server thing later in any case...
god what a horrible sentence! lol! Sorry for the haphazard nature
of this note! lol!
