Notes in Mail

Listers I have a question that may sound strange but I promise that it  
is relevant  to a problem that I am having that I desperately need  
help with. Where is your Notes Mailbox located on your systems by  
default in Leopard Mail? The reason why I ask is for a number of  
reasons and they are as follows:
Mines show up in my Import section of my imported mailboxes from Tiger
I have typed and pressed done for about 8 messages and only three show  
up
Because I can check the messages in the library under notes and see  
all 11 makes me wonder
Can someone help me make heads or tells as to what is going on? My  
goal is to create Mail notes and have them save in the same place and  
retrieve the ones that I can't find through Mail. Any help is greatly  
appreciated!
