I know there are lots of posts about this in the archives, but I want to know if we ever came to a definite concensus about this. Every mac mini I've ever had has ended up having to have the OS reinstalled immediately simply because I could not bring up voiceover on the mac mini when starting the computer for the first time. I think we finally decided that it was happening to people because a mouse was being sought, and it was decided that if you either had a usb mouse connected or hit escape, you would then be able to start voiceover. However, after this conclusion had been reached, I remember that Gordon still had the problem with not being able to start voiceover with his new mac mini. While it really isn't difficult at all to install Leopard, I really would like to finally NOT have to do a fresh install the same day I get a mac mini. Will attaching a mouse or hitting escape actually solve this problem, or did we eventually find another problem that needed to be surmounted and a solution for it? I'd really appreciate clarification of this question.
