Hi again Doug,
The trick is to be logical and assertive with this. You don't want to come
across to them as just another Apple fan boy.
So, you could explain to them that you would primarily be using Windows on
your macbook running natively under bootcamp, whether that's true or not
they don't need to know. Explain to them that if your windows partition is
set up correctly, you'd be able to have read and write access to every file
on that partition from within OS X, should windows ever bite the dust on you
unexpectedly. As we all know and they should too, it happens. Blabber on
about how that would greatly increase your independence and confidence that
you can cope should you have a windows issue, and more importantly, point
out that there's simply not a failsafe mechanism that's this accessible to
you out of the box with anything else other than an Apple. You could also
try spinning them a line about how good Apple care service is. I dunno if
that's true, but even Mac haters over here seem to think Apple treat there
fans well, so they'd probably believe you.
Hope some of that helps
Scott

This is my dilemma and I can use some advice,
The department of rehab wants to get me a pc, but I have nothing but Macs
at home. I'm trying to argue that I could get a new macbook with fusion
so that I can also use jaws, which is the software they want me to learn.
Can any one help me with some arguments for this option.

What about using fusion?

Hi,
Parallels and jAWS does not interact correctly. Parallels emulates
an grafphic device driver. This driver could not be removed, so
JAWS can not install its own special driver.
