What about Vista and Jaws 9? I don't remember that being brought up. I'd be curious to know just how that works. Just as a quick side question. Don't you guys think that putting Windows on a MAC kind of ruins the fun of having one?

Oo! Who delurked me? Blinking in bright light and gulping rather nervously. Um, right, well I have - sort of. What I mean is my son has set my mac book up so I can dual boot, if I do nothing it goes in to, spit, windows. If I hit option key it goes to, sigh, leopard and voice over. The sad thing is I know nothing other than I can at last free myself from the dark lord of Seattle and have the tools to defeat the dark arts. Here's a thing though my son is a software architect who uses a mac to do his job and has been encouraging me to dump microsludge for a while now. He works for a mapping solutions company here in the U.K. called multimap.com and has been active in web accessibility on my and other blind computer users behalf for some years now. He is very involved in web 2.0 here in the U.K. but when I can blackmail him in to doing something for his dear old Dad he is frightfully good about it, currently he is engaged in reverse engineering a tool for reading talking newspapers with his pearl script skills and hopefully I will be able to make this available to other users of T.N.A.U.K publications in the U.K. soon. Oh dear I do seem to have gone on rather a lot, forgive a garrulous old fool who really prefers lurking in the background. Cheers G From glorious Devon, England. a On 7 Dec 2007, at 19:24, L. T.
