Firstly, there are three modes to the finder: icon, list, and column view.
You can switch with command+1, command+2, and command+3 respectively (i.e.,
hold down command key and press numbers 1, 2, or 3 on the top row of the
main keyboard). Icon view is not as VoiceOver friendly as the other two
modes. I personally prefer column view.
Once you have your mode set the way you like, press command+shift+h to get
to your home directory.
Now navigate with arrow up/down through the list of files and folders, and
use rightArrow to open and descend, leftArrow to close and ascend the
hierarchy. Actually, these keys work in column view mode, but in list mode
I am not sure because I don't use this mode much at all; give it a try
though...
Sometimes, you get stuck in the finder toolbar. If your arrow keys aren't
navigating the folder listings, try pressing control+f5; this should move
you back and forth from the toolbar to the actual file list.
Hope this helps.

Hi. It should be recording as you go. Make sure you are infact
recording and not just hijacking. A good way to tell this is to see if
both the hijack and the record timer is running.
BTW, your recorded files will go in the audio hijack folder, which is
under the music folder of your home directory.

OK sorry again but I've managed to sort out how to select the source I

do I save any recordings i make? i.e. when i look in the recording bin
there's nothing in it. and if i quit the application i get a warning
that audio hijack is hijacking audio. but no option to save my file.
