Does anyone have any vision, have you read the bootcamp install and setup
guide? all you have to do is run bootcamp from system utilities, choose
continue, choose partition drive, decide how you want to partition your hd,
be aware that any partition size above 32 gb will have to be ntfs but 32gb
and below can be fat-32. I've just split the drive in half, that is easy,
just click the devide equally button. Once the partition is done, you will
be guided to insert the xpsp2 cd and click install, the system restarts and
nothing talks so you hae to select the partition make sure it is partition 3
or c which is the label for partition 3. Choose quick format to save time
or complete format if you have time. Once the format is done, the system
restarts and the install begins. at some point, there is a license you have
to click through and you will need to enter the product key, your name etc.
It takes a while after that but the system restarts and asks for more info.
Once the install is finished, restart the system, hold down the option key
right after the start sound of the system, let it up after a few seconds,
press right arrow and then enter. Windows will load. If you don't get
sound, don't worry, put in your leopard cd and the bootcamp driver install
window will appear, click install and proceed through all the screens. All
this is in the guide and if I made any errors, I'm sure someone will correct
me. I will try digging up the guide and looking through it and let you know
if anything needs to change. you don't have to restart the system to
install the drivers, you also may be able to check the boot order if you
want to change it in control panel, there should be a bootcamp item. you
may have one in the system tray as well. If you want, you can use narrator
but it might not be talking till you have installed the drivers.

If you need to be phoned, let me know and I'll be happy to do that.

Subject: Can someone help with instaling windows?

Hello All
My husband Tom and I have fusion installed on our macs, but don't know
the first thing of what to do with installing windows XP Pro, and was
wondering if someone on this list would know how to do this and could
help us by phone. The store installed fusion, and as far as I know it
is registered and all of that.
Thanks
