Yes, you need a small amount of sighted help, often, you can get narrator 
going not long after the first restart that is when the formatting is done 
but you do need a little help.  I don't know how easy it is to get this done 
in fusion either though because the stuff you have to do in windows will 
still not talk.

I don't want to cause major confusion here because I think the person who
started this thread is using fusion. So I'm putting bootcamp in this subject
line. Am I correct in thinking that from the time the XP cd is inserted
until you reboot into Windows, you have to have sighted help if you are
going to do a dual boot with bootcamp?I've been debating between bootcamp
and fusion but fusion may win out simply because I understand I can go
through that process without sighted help.
