actually, with the problems I'm having, I wondered if I somehow triggered some kind of time-out function. Windows is working fine as long as I'm here working at the keyboard; then when I walk away and come back I can't do anything though as I described before windows is obviously still loaded.
But as far as bootcamp drivrs, it wasn't installing them that got my sound and keyboard working.
