Thanks. It would be nice to use this layout on the previous MacBook models. I wonder if there's a toggle somewhere to force an older MacBook to use the new layout.

JD: I would've thought that the shortcut keys would've been controlled by the OS, and the defaults would be the same regardless of the model of your hardware, with the notable exception of the media keys on the new Apple keyboards. TK: Mute, Volume Down and Volume up are f10, f11 and f12 respectively. Display Brightness remain as f1 and f2. f7, f8 and f9 are iTunes media keys for Previous, Pause/Play and Next respectively. I'm not sure if there are any other changes.
