Hello Søren,
I would say that the only bad thing about OS X and Voiceover is that
some third-party applications aren't Voiceover compatible yet. And,
because of the way Voiceover is integrated into the operating system;
there isn't much that a user can do except bug the developer of the
software.
Unless you're in a big hurry to move to the Mac; I would wait a couple
of weeks and see what is released at Macworld in San Francisco. If a
new computer is released, you might get a good deal on one of the
older models.

Hi.

I have tried to send
to the list a cobble of times. I wrote in the mail I'll get a Mac at
the start of January. I'll go to a shop today and have a look on a
MacBook, and I'll
maybee buy it today.
Here is my mail:
Hi.
I have just subscribed to the list, so please forgive me if this
question have been asked before.
I have heard so much great things about the Mac system, but I have
never heard any bad things about it. Are there really not any bad
things about it?
I'll get a MacBook at the start of January, and I want to get so
much informations about the Mac system and Voiceover before I get my
MacBook as possable.
I have heard some of the potcasts from Screenlessswitchers.com, and
I have checked out some of the other Mac websites out there. I also
know some blind
people who have a Mac, and they have only said good things about it.
There is both good things and bad things in Windows, so I don't
understand if Apple
is able to make a operating-system which always is stable and never
crash. But I'm really tired of Windoes and Jaws, so maybee I'll
switch to Mac if it's
so good as I have heard.
Happy new year to your all, and I look forward to see your answers.
I like to hear from newbies and users who have a lot of experience,
if it's possable.
Best regards:
Søren Jensen
