I think I had a problem like this at one point. I think I needed to take the
account off-line before it would let me delete the mailbox. The other thing
you might try is deleting all the messages in the mailbox before trying to
delete the actual mailbox.

hello to all i have a mail box i don't want any more in mail and after
deactivating the rule that was with the box i try to remove the box and
it asks if i want to remove it and i tell it yes and when i look again it
is still there. what could be rong?
