Hey Jed. I've had this problem. It isn't about the CD having a bad track. It's about going through tracks too fast. What you need to do when this happens is hit Command Option and Escape to open a list of running applications. This is a window that allows you to force quit applications. Choose ITunes from the table and press enter followed by going down to the Force Quit button. Click on that. You might want to report this to Apple when the Problem Reporter comes up.
