ichat and allerts

Hey guys, alright someone had posted there was an allert that would  
automatically read an incoming message.  I guess this doesn't exist,  
caust i can't find it.  What i am noticing is that when you are in a  
conversation you have to listen for the incoming message to know that  
someone sent you an incoming message.
Any thoughts on how to make it automatically speak?
