Thanks for the article. Very interesting. I just have one question.
Microsoft seem to be saying that their new U.I Automation will allow
Screen Readers and the like interact with controls that are not yet
available, which is certainly an interesting prospect for those using
Windows. But surely as Blind/Visually Impaired users, we should be
able to integrate as fully as possible with our sighted colleagues and
friends? From what the article said, the U>I>A does not represent the
screen as I am told VO does; and whilst this may be a good thing I
don't know, it sounds like it is a step backwards in terms of
assimilation into the wider world for us Blind users. Or am i talking
rubbish?
Any thoughts?
