Hello,
The only key I assigned is F13 and it's assigned to read highlighted text. That's using Apple's Text To Speech. The other keys on my keyboard, the keys above the Numpad from left to right are Volume down, Volume up, Mute and eject. But I've not seen the new thinner keyboard, so this might be wrong for you.

Hi shaun,

You asked:
What is the F13 thru F16 keys used for and the other three keys after F16 keys on the number pad used foras well?

TK: Many people program them for Expose. That's somewhat not so useful for blind users though as Expose is totally visual. There are some apps like Spark that allow you to assign applications to the F-keys but at the moment I haven't heard of any updates that will allow anything to be assigned past F-16 with these apps. I guess the best answer at the moment is "Future considerations", or maybe Apple has something in mind that we will find out about later.

Later...
