It is great, lightweight and feels normal to the touch. I just went
and purchased it sight unseen because of the num pad commander feature
that now has changed my life.

Hello,
Hey Tim, thanks for the explination. I've been meaning to look at
one when I get a chance to get to an Apple store. Or, who knows, I
just might purchase one fingers unseen.

Hi Dan,
DK: The only key I assigned is F13 and it's assigned to read
highlighted text. That's using Apple's Text To Speech. The other
keys on my keyboard, the keys above the Numpad from left to right
are Volume down, Volume up, Mute and eject. But I've not seen the
new thinner keyboard, so this might be wrong for you.
TK: On the new Aluminum keyboard there are 19 F-keys. F10, F11
and F12 are for Mute, Down and Up volume respectively. The F1
through F13 are located above the main part of the keyboard with
F14 to F16 above the Home/End 6-pack and F17 to F19 are above the
NumPad. A slight difference to the regular Apple keyboard prior to
the aluminum introduction.
