I'm afraid my answer may not b helpful but am responding since nobody else 
has yet. On a full-size usb and bluetooth keeyboards, I am using the help 
key as insert, or I should say Fusion and windoweyes recognize it as insert. 
I don't know how this works on a laptop or on the new bluetooth keyboards.
