A good way to learn your keyboard is to turn on keyboard help with 
vokeys-;k; then press the keys and  you can explore your keboard; it won't 
give you the Windows functions but it will give you the mac ones. The help 
key is in the six-pack right above your cursor cross in the middle portion 
of your keyboard. On the right is your numeric keypad; at the left is the 
regular keyboard--letters, numers, punctuation, etc. In between at the 
bottom is your cursor cross--up, down, left and right arrows. Above that is 
the six-pack and help is the top left key of these six. Above the sixpack 
are f14 f15 and f16. So the help key is below f14.
To get out of keyboard help just press escape.
