HIGHLIGHTING

OK SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS. I am using Leopard  
as my OS  and have my folders set to column view. i have tried all the  
steps mailed to me yet i can at most get only 2 folders to highlight  
at any one time  this also applies to files.   I even tried changing  
to list mode but it behaved in exactly the same way. is it possible i  
have a curser setting wrong or something of that nature?  help as  
always is appreciated.
