Hi Tim.

It doesn't work on my Mac. When I turn the cursor tracking off, I can only see the itim I selected before I turned the cursor tracking off, and a close button. I can't interact with something. It's weird.

Best regards Søren.

Hi Keith,

You asked: OK SORRY ABOUT THIS BUT I AM STILL HAVING PROBLEMS. I am using Leopard as my OS and have my folders set to column view. i have tried all the steps mailed to me yet i can at most get only 2 folders to highlight at any one time this also applies to files. I even tried changing to list mode but it behaved in exactly the same way. is it possible i have a curser setting wrong or something of that nature? help as always is appreciated.

TK: If the items are one after another, simply hold down your shift key and then proceed to use the up or down arrows and VO will announce how many items are being selected. If they are not one after another, get to the first item by using VO navigation. That is, in column mode, navigate to the Column Browser, Interact with it, navigate with VO-down arrow to get to the next item alphabetically, VO-right arrow to get within a folder. When you get to the first item, stop, then turn off Cursor Tracking using VO- shift-f3. You can check if the item you are at is selected by pressing VO-cmd-space bar. VO will announce selected or deselected depending on its state. Then navigate using VO again to the next item you wish to select then Press VO-cmd-space bar to select it. continue in this fashion until you have all the items selected that you want selected. Then press cmd-c to copy or Stop Interacting With the File Table or whatever you need to do in your given case. After that action is complete, make sure to turn Cursor
Tracking back on.

HTH.
