As far as I know, there isn't a dedicated insert key on a macbook. you
could map one if you needed it I guess. If you wanna check there's not
though, you could use VO's keyboard training mode. hit VO-K to get it, and
while it's engaged VO will announce each key that you press without it
having any effect. hit escape to exit keyboard training when you're done.
