NO I'm afraid there isn't an insert key on the macbooks or macbook
pros. If you want to remap a key that you don't use, there's a great
program called sharpkeys which will do the trick for you. It works
with Fusion or bootcamp, and basically makes a change to the windows
registry. I use the key immediately to the left of the arrows. I think
it's like a right alt or altgr key which seems to give a alt and
control or else it's the right windows key. Can't remember exactly.
All I know is that I didn't use it a lot in its default function so
have remapped that to the insert key. All works like a dream for me in
fusion. Hope this helps.
