William: just try a couple restarts and let the drive work itself  
out.  It should work ok after awhile.  Perhaps the suggestion about  
angling your MacBook so the CD will come out may work.
I had difficulty with CDs and also a DVD and CD combination.  My drive  
kept running with the first jam so it was a bit disconcerting ... Good
