Jane,

If you can save the PowerPoint file as xml louis will give you a braille 
file with good formatting. Some work will be needed to teach louis what 
the xml file means. If you can save the PowerPoint files as xml contact 
me privately.

You can extract the text from pdf files and louis will give you a 
braille file with passable formatting.
