Thanks for that bit of info. It's my first time so I chopped it up to
a learning experiance.

When I import CDs, I make sure the CD shows up in iTunes, then I

album artist, and whether I want the position rememb ered when I
play the file and make sure the genre is the same, too. That should
fix it--it did when I did that monster import of all three books in
LOTR.

Hi Shaun,
You asked: I imported a 12 CD book into I Tunes and it landed in
my music folder in a weird play order. Basically the CD's doesn't
go 1 thru 12, they go 2,1,3,5,4,7,6,8,9 and so on. I put them in
correctly and in the correct playing order but this is the result.
What can I do to correct it?
TK: Did the CDDB recognize the title of your book? That is, did
it come into iTunes knowing what it was or did it just say Track 1,
Track 2 and so on? It shouldn't really matter in what order you
slide in the CDs if it's recognizing the inserted CDs.
