Yep I recall I'd have problems with this too. I plug my PM 40 cel
into the mac and basically it just loses and regains the connection
every now and then.
It did feel loose and I was not sure exactly what to do about it. It
was not so intolerable that I didn't benefit from carrying it to my
classes. But I was happy to have an alva 540 traveler around my dorm.

the extent that a slite knoc, wouldn't dislodge the connection. You
may
need to get the display checked.
but this is not right as a slight knock disconnect the display for
me, that can't be right
I want to experience braille more with the mac if i can but am
concerned it is not a snug connection with a pm 20 cell
