hey there

wow this sounds interesting. however the price for this software is rediculous. really for this kind of package it should be a heack of a lot cheaper. or affordable to even the most basic of people. I used to use K1000 on windows and it was a life saver for me but it was a wink wink nudge nudge copy but did its job for me in college. as well as after college until I moved to the mac. now I'm looking for a decent accessible scanning interface that will convert a document to speech and maybe even recorded media.

any other ideas?

Hello,
I've used it with VO. I had to play around just a little with a few of the K3000 settings. But yes it does. In fact there is a free download. Just do a Google search for
Kurzweil 3000 OS X
and you will find a download link. However, I did not purchase it and I don't know the price.

Hello all,
I know that Kurzweil 3000 is a product designed for people with learning disabilities, but does it work well with VoiceOver?
