Adobe reader is usable but it will only all ow you to read documents that are readable as entire documents through read aloud. Preview will read documents that are readable just fine. If though you have adobe reader installed, you'll either have to throw it in the trash or manually open the document in preview. You can also change the app the .pdfs open with to preview.
