Hi
Actually, pressing return on the help topic in the table is sufficient, no need to double-click. Interact with the table, navigate to the desired item, press return, stop interacting with the table and find the html content area.

Hi Kelly,

you said: Interesting, I tried vo+a for all text but it only read me a paragraph at a

time.

TK: Did you Interact With the text area first? In order for the VO- a (Read All) command to work properly, you'll need to do this.

Kelly also said: BTW, how does one read the text from the finder help. For example:

1. Open help from Finder.
2. Enterr a search phrase such as network file share.
3. Arrow down in the table to a topic of interest.

At this point I'm kind of stuck as to read the actual help topic.

TK: Once you've located the Help Topic you wish to read, do the following:

• Make sure that you're Interacting With the Table
• Bring the mouse to the VO-cursor using VO-cmd-f5 (add the FN key if on a laptop) • Double-click on the Help Topic item by pressing VO-shift-space- space quickly. You'll hear the double-clicking noise. • This will then bring focus to the HTML area for the given Help Topic. Sometimes focus is not exact so you'll have to navigate a little to find the HTML content area then Interact With it to read the specific Help info. • To get back to the topic list, Stop Interacting With the HTML Content area then navigate to the ToolBar, Interact With it and then press the Back button with VO-space. Another way to get quickly to the ToolBar is to press ctrl-f5 then use VO navigation to activate the Back button.
• Follow the same steps with the new Help topic.
