I am not sure about the legality of posting silverlight in a public
download site. However, the instructions for downloading it are
pretty easy, so I will do Microsoft's job for the moment and send
them a bill later.
First go to http://www.microsoft.com/silverlight/resources/
InstallationFiles.aspx?mode=sysreq From the top left of the page VO
to the right once, and you will hear "link silverlight home page".
Then VO down three times until you hear "to install, select your
operating system". VO down once more, and you will hear "link no
break space"; if you click this, you will get the windows installer.
VO once to the right, and you will again hear "link no break space".
This is the link for the mac. Once you click on it, everything
should go smoothly. It will bring up an installer, and just follow
the instructions.
I have not tried listening to the archived games, but I have had no
problems with the live games once I found them. It took me so long
to do so that I bookmarked the link. It is http://mlb.mlb.com/
mediacenter/index.jsp#20080316 Well, actually, that brings up the
games for March 16, and I just change the last four digits of the url
to the appropriate date. Then just bring up the link chooser; select
the desired radio station and click.
Now all I need to do is cancel that three month "complementary"
subscription to Sports Illustrated that they gave me before I get
charged for a year (since there was no opt out choice), and I'll
finally be sorted. And all of this to listen to Cubs games. You
would think that I would have learned by now! But hey, it's the
centennial of their last World Series, so this must be the year...
