I tried to read all of this stuff and got confused. I don't know anything about bindings or emac etc but if it'll make using Text Edit easier, perhaps, I can have someone program this for me. I don't know where this function key is. I'm guessing it's the one on the left. I hit that along with shift and left and right arrow and all it says is ruler or it does nothing. Basically, it won't get me to the beginning and end of text. So I still either have to transfer the file to a Windows machine to use it properly or go line by line, which takes forever. I'm a college graduate with honours and feel like an idiot here!
