My suspicion is you made some of those files while you were in the
administrator's account on your machine. Using chown on files like that,
chown user-account admin-account file-name <cr> will handle it. That's
normally done in terminal mode and you have to be in administrator's
account to run chown in a case like this or sudo -i into administrator's
account first.

Hi guys, what is this garbo? This afternoon I tried to transfer my web site
to my macbook from my windows laptop and got the following error berried in
an obscure object in the copy window.
"some of the items did not coppy. You do not have permition to coppy all of
the items." and an OK button. Actually there were about three of these and I
had to get rid of them one by one. So, why do I have permition to copy some
files, but not others of the same types? More importantly, how much of the
data I've backed up hasn't gone through because it's decided to tell me what
to do with my own files? Even more important still, how do I make this
behavior stop?
Thanks,
Erik
