Like any camera, the further away you move from the lens, the more area would show up in the img. I.E. The field of view spreads outward in a V. I don't know the exact angle in degrees, and I believe that it shows a relatively normal head shot (not too tight) when the computer is on your lap when you take the shot. I.E. Your face would be visible with just a bit of the background around it. The closer you move your head toward the lens, the larger your face would appear in the image. So, if you wanted less of your face and more background, (which would have your face / head be smaller in the shot) you'd move further away from the lens when you take the shot. Does this make sense?…
