This is a two step process and it works well. 1> export your favorites to a file. the default is .htm file. then, import them into safari. I do this over the network but you can put them on a cd if need be.

And I noticed that over the past nearly two months I've been on this Vista computer, I've managed to collect a large amount of favorite webpages. I know in XP you could go into documents/settings/users/something or other and go directly to the folder that had all the lil files that were your favorites in MSIE and I could copy them to a disk and transfer them to other computers... My question is... Can I save all my bookmarked websites that are on this computer, save them to a CD or something and import them into Safari? Or do I get the joy of copying URLs into some sort of text document and then putting them into, whatever it is Safari has for favored webpages? HTMS Thanks Jenny
