I purchased my iBook G4 from amazon in late 2005. I didn't get the
Apple care plan, but they did offer it to me. It was listed under the
accessories, interestingly enough. Not sure if they still offer it or
not. I didn't have any issues ordering from them, though I've never
had any problems ordering from amazon at all, so I wasn't surprised.

Haven't purchased a mac through amazon, but got my Ipod through them
and everything worked fine.
