Did you try the hard reset?

Press the center button  in combination with the menu button for
approximately 10 seconds.  Try this a few times and give it a few seconds
after each try. If this does not work try this sequence wile plugged into
the wall. This should not erase any of your songs, and should work if the
issue isn't to serious.

Listers I have a newer I Pod mini and it seems that it's broken. It doesn't
power on even when it's plugged into the power outlet or when it's plugged
directly into my Mac. Does anyone know a fix or a shop I can send it to? It
isn't worth much so I don't want to spend allot of money on it, but I have
fell in love with it and would like to get it fixed for less than the price
of getting a new Nano.
