Weird error with Ventrilo on the Mac?

Hey all, thought i'd try Ventrilo on the mac, and connected to a  
server, and got an error message saying that it couldn't find a codec  
or something like that, so therefore a I m thinking about uninstalling  
Ventrilo if there isn't a fix for this.  Since Ventrilo had an  
installer, don't see anywhere in the menus to uninstall it, as I  
usually do with applications that have installers.  So is it safe to  
just move the ventrilo.app file into the trash, like  I would in  
removing  most applications if there isn't a fix for this.  Thanks
