hi there
actually I will be conducting several podcasts soon. sadly things have
been delayed due to several things going on but normal service will be
resumed as soon as possible. I really do not see what these problems
are all about and personally will people stop throwing dummies out of
prams please? its not fair on others on this list and this argument is
unneccessary . we all have our views but for this to start into a
serious argument it is borderline rediculous. please people lets keep
all this to a decent level
josh you've done a good job with podcasting etc and yes your knowledge
is certainly of a high level. gordon smith is also a highly prized
mac guru in the UK and is a guy to be supportive over.
we all have our experiences.
wwith me its pro audio, mac repairs and restoration of old hardware
etc. as well as studio accessibility so thats my game.
anyhow thats my two pennith in lol

I'm honestly bewildered by the attitude and assertions made as
well. It makes no sense to me. Gordon was one of the first people
to demonstrate a part of VoiceOver with his presentation on virtual
machines. As I said in my comments for the article, does it really
matter who does the podcasts and such anyway? Isn't it important
that VoiceOver is promoted overall? What is stopping any UK user
from doing their own podcast on VO? I just don't get this
sentiment in these reactions, as they almost sound "childish" in
their tone and accusations. Go out and spread the word if you feel
inclined to do so. Nothing is stopping anyone from doing it.

I'm still flummoxed as to where the notion is coming from that the
UK Mac users are somehow excluded from anything. If Gordon's been
on Main Menu, Mr. Shebanek from Apple has attended Sight Village,
Anne Roberts has been on Screenless Switchers and done promotional
work for Assistiveware, and so on, it hardly seems to me that
European, let alone UK, users are being excluded.
And, as for the personal attacks on myself from James and Will, I
have very little to say. I've done my utmost for this community,
and will continue to do so. I hope my work for the VI community as
a whole, not limited to Mac users, will speak for itself.

he UK. we have only had gordon ont he main menu podcast
If josh thinks he is so good with the mac, then where is his
software then for the mac? none, exactly.
