bootcamp - keyboard issue

Hi there,
I'm currently running windows XP professional SP2 under bootcamp. In the most 
recent update to come out for bootcamp, the top row of keys on a laptop has 
been rendered disfunctional in as much as it is now impossible to eject a CD 
via hardware and such shortcuts as volume up, volume down, volume mute, play, 
forward, backward, et cetera are no longer available. Any ideas how to rectify 
this?
