I think what they did was to switch the defaults. In earlier versions of 
boot camp, they had the function keys perform the hardware functions like 
volume, eject, etc. The only way to make them act normally was to hold down 
the fn key. I think now they switched it around. Try holding down the fn key 
and experimenting with the f keys. That should do what you need. Hope that
