Josh, I can definitely relate to PDFs being more enjoyable on the Mac
-- I'm almost starting to like having PDF manuals given the way
Preview allows us to navigate. Thanks for pointing me toward the
print dialog, I looked there, but didn't expand the options or
something. I'm still not sure how authors break documents up into
sections, but some Googling will probably help me figure that piece out.
Thanks again,
Steve

Steve,
Near the bottom of the Print dialog on the Mac is a menu button with
PDF creation options. I haven't used it much, but it will allow you
to create them. Incidentally, I enjoy reading PDF's on the Mac,
something I hated passionately under Window. :)

With zillions of pdf files on my Mac, I'm surprised that I don't see
a utility for creating one. I'm writing a short how to of sorts and
have been asked to create it as a pdf file, ideally, with sections
divided into an outline, the way I've seen various help files and
manuals done. Does anyone know how to do this? is there a utility
somewhere that I'm just missing?
Thanks,
Steve
