Apparently theSkyMACMate (that's it's official name) from Yealink
causes some users difficulty and can only be fixed by editing some
files. *shrug* Don't look at me. I just turn the machine on and use
it. I found a version but it's for OS 10.3 and 10.4. Not sure if
it'll work on Leopard. Maybe, the cd will be a little more helpful.
I seriously should've went with the Mac Phone. That's it for tonight
guys, unless I really do find something of interest.

manufacturer's website to download the Skype Mate for Mac software,
and not only couldn't I find it, but the site was horrible. So does
anyone know anything about Skype Mate? I saw something about it, but
am not sure if I need one specifically for their phone or if it's a
generic program. Thankfully, this cam with a one-year warrenty and a
30-day moneyback garintee. Hopefully, I won't have to return it and
can figure this out.

the system audio output to come through the speakers. I would also
check the audio setting in Skype's preferences an make sure that
everything is set to the name of the phone. I don't have one but I

But now I have a few questions. All the instructions in the manual
talk about Windows, but it said on the site that it works with Macs as
well. The files on the disk are also for Windows. So does this mean
that, with the Mac, it's plug and play? Also, I plugged it into the
XP desktop to charge it but am noticing that now my speech is coming
through the phone rather than the speaker. Is this supposed to happen
or do I have to install the software? I'm confused. What about when
I use the Mac? Am I allowed to log into Skype with two computers at
once so I can use my XP machine as my phone? If not, can I simply
unplug the phone from whichever computer it's plugged into when I need
to use it and make calls as I did previously or is there a way to get
the speaker phone to work as an external speaker for speech?
