Hi Will, Now you have given me something of a dilemma. I don't own a Mac yet, but would like to do so. Originally, I was thinking of getting a Mac Book, but didn't have the nerve to spend £700 on something that I may not even like. So, I decided that I would buy a Mac mini later in the year. However, a Mac Mini with wireless keyboard would cost around the same as your second hand Mac Book. One thing I need to do is visit PC World and listen to Voice Over via the built in speakers on a Mac Mini and a Mac Book to see which sounds the best. I Don't want to use external speakers if I can help it. Have you heard Voice Over on a Mac Mini? If so, how does it compare with the sound of the Mac Book? Also, what is the battery life on your Mac Book. Best wishes.
