It does and it's ok, but not nearly as good as you'll find in the notebooks. This of course is just my opinion.

Hi,

I'm fairly certain that the Mac Mini does have a built in speaker, but have no idea how good it is.

Hi Will,

Now you have given me something of a dilemma.

I don't own a Mac yet, but would like to do so. Originally, I was thinking of getting a Mac Book, but didn't have the nerve to spend £700 on something that I may not even like. So, I decided that I would buy a Mac mini later in the year. However, a Mac Mini with wireless keyboard would cost around the same as your second hand Mac Book.

One thing I need to do is visit PC World and listen to Voice Over via the built in speakers on a Mac Mini and a Mac Book to see which sounds the best. I Don't want to use external speakers if I can help it.

Have you heard Voice Over on a Mac Mini? If so, how does it compare with the sound of the Mac Book?

Also, what is the battery life on your Mac Book.

Best wishes.
Ian

hi all on the macvisionaries discussion list,

I am fortunate now to be able to buy a Macbook with more hard disk capacity for internal storage and the ability in built for dvd writing, so i am going to part wiht this existing Macbook that i own.

it has

1.83 core 2 duo processor
2 gigabytes of sd ram upgraded originally from 512
sixty gigabyte hard drive

The Macbook has a cd writier, dvd reader drive, known as a combo drive built in, wireless, bluetooth etc.

The package includes the macbook itself, the power adaptor the install dvds. it is not going to be in the original box as do not have this to hand but wou.d package it well

I am hoping to obtain the new machine for usage either this, or next week so only when i ahve it would i accept payment and then and send the old one, off the machine is in excellent condition even though it is around sixteen months old. it would come wiped clean i.e. the operating system wleopard 10.5 with all applied updates, would be installed afresh with only the components the user wants on the install which they could tell me. I would set up the home folder including passwords etc. and any programs they wished like skype etc. even setting their account up cfor skype and msn including setting up their relevant accounts for these programs, could all be done from my end before posting the achine off t the relevant party.

I am asking only 460 british pounds including the postage costs to the UK

So if you know anyone who perhaps wants a Macbook but who doesn't need the newest technology, who wants a backup machine, or who simply can't afford a newer product, here is your chance
the product is best to go to UK buyers owing to shipping costs etc
please, anyone let me know if at all interested
many thanks for your time

will
