Navigate right and fill in Server Port: 587
Right again to "Use Secure Sockets Layer" checkbox: tick it
Right again: set "Authentication" (pop-up button) to Password.
User Name: full Google address again, e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Password: once again, the password you set on the Google website.
Click on OK
4) Click on the Advanced tab (To get to this, do VO-Shift-Home, then
navigate right.)
Check that the Port: field is set to 995 and the Use SSL checkbox
ticked.
Ensure the Authentication (pop-up button) is set to Password.
5) Close Preferences and say "Yes" to "Save changes" dialogue.
6) On the Gmail website, log in and then click on the Settings link
in the top right-hand corner. Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP
link that comes up.
7) Click on the "Enable POP for all mail" radio button. Then click
on Save Changes (below), then SIgn Out (top right-hand corner).
8) TIP: If you can get sighted help, do so as this site crashes both
VoiceOver and Safari!
And within a couple of minutes, Apple Mail should connect and grab
any undeleted mail that's on the Gmail server!
