Darcy, you can also set the Unit Converter widget to do currency conversions as well.

One thing I really like about the calculator is that it can do things like currency conversions. This is something I only recently discovered, since until a short time ago, I hadn't looked at the calculator's menu bar.

apple's calculator is a marvel of design and you caneven use it without voiceover if you enable speech in it. I've been using it since the inception of vo and there has been some discussion of all the things you can do with it and how it works. further, its help is well helpful.

Hey all,

Does anyone know where I can get a Calculator to type on, rather than click on each of the buttons? I was doing a rather simple operation that I really could've, should've done in my head this morning. I didn't feel like it, and besides I wanted to give this calculator a test run, since I haven't used it before, and it disappointed me that there was no edit box to type the numbers in.

Does anyone know a freeware app that can do this, or perhaps Apple's Calculator can do it, I'm just not sure how to get the edit box up?

Thanks.
