I don't know if I understand well but you will need the insert key to work
with jaws on your macbook?
I didn't know that the insert key is not on the macbook(pro) keyboard but ,
if I remind me well, you can alsoo chose the capslock-key as jaws-key as
alternative to install a program like described below.
hope this can be helpfull,
best regards,
William

Sorry, forgot the url:

Also, its a good idea to disable mac shortcuts in the vmware prefs,
otherwise funcionkeys may not work as expected (at least on my macbook).

How do I get this program?

Hi!
I use a program called Inputremapper to for example create an insert
key. It doesn't solve the capslock problem, but its possible to use the
jaws key.

Hey all,
Please, I'd rather not use window eyes. There must be a way to fix
this stupid problem regarding the jaws key. I turned on the laptop
layout and tried using the Mac capslock and the Mac capslock comes on.
I couldn't find insert on my iMac keyboard either.
This is all I'll need, really.
Thanks.
