William, That's the way my niece told me that the iPhone works, by
touching portions of the screen and she can scroll that area she
touched. Is it possible that the only reason Apple didn't incorporate
VoiceOver into the iPhone is because it uses a lot of the PDA's
resources in order to generate speech? Just asking. Richie

mobile speak works really well with PDA screens
the wa it works is, you tap certain portions of the screen to issue
commands
i think it is, the phone that is, a PDA and phone combination

Hi folks,
I would like to add my name to those of you who have already taled
with Apple regarding the accessability of the IPhone. Where should
I address my message?
However, part of me feels that the IPhone is not so much a phone as
a PDA-type device. Am I correct in this or do I have this wrong?
Is the IPhone really a viable option for blind users? BTW how does
Mobile Speak work with touch screens?
Best wishes
